PhotoED Magazine has been independently published since 2001. Over sixty themed editions have been published over seventeen years. Over 700 photographers have been profiled or contributed to the publication since it began. The mandate of the publication is to highlight Canadian talent. The magazine is subscribed to by individuals and institutions across Canada, and is available on newsstands nationally, three times per year.

The intern would work independently to deliver thoroughly researched editorial features for

our publication.

We are looking for:

• A person with a positive / can-do attitude

• A smart, articulate WRITER

• A person that can respond quickly and accurately to anything

• A strategic thinker

• A person with lots of ideas + the smarts to make them actually happen

• We are looking for an organised, articulate, self-motivated intern who can bring ideas to the

table and deliver solid editorial content. Attention to detail and great research skills are

required. Knowledge of contemporary Canadian photography a big bonus.

Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project.
